A new chapter of Mekkaringattu Kudumbayogam was started at Nilambur on 6th Nov 2018. Ancestors of these families were migrated to Malabar from Mallappally in the 1950s to 1960s and settled there. Cultivation of barren land acquired by them in large areas was the main occupation and source of livelihood. The inaugural gathering was conducted at the residence of Rev Fr PC Abraham (Raju Achen).
